History Of Advertising

The first TV ad broadcast in the UK was on ITV on 21 September 1955, advertising Gibbs SR toothpaste.

It depends on what channel, what time, between what shows etc etc.So for a advert on say channel 4 at 4 pm you would pay around 25-30 thousand. However this increases to hundreds of thousands at the 5-8pm time.  For the cheapest adverts you pay only a couple of thousand.

Advertising on on UK televisions is cheaper than advertising on USA televisions because there are way more people in the USA then UK, so it means there will be more viewers in the USA than the UK.

  1. Very good work Jermaine well done. Next time try and include some pictures as well to make your work visually interesting as well. Great effort to put answers in your own words though!
